BoE Update – 14/12/2017 (10:30am): BoE Update – 14/12/2017 (10:30am): BOE… The market anticipate very little urgency or appetite to make any changes to policy at this week’s meeting after the BoE delivered on market expectations for a 25bp hike last month. The more-decisive-than-expected 7-2 vote came alongside a more dovish tone with the MPC, stating that an additional two hikes would be needed over the next three years to return inflation to target in a sustainable fashion, but refraining from guiding the market toward another hike in the near-term.
