Overnight, Japan’s GDP figure shows the economy contracts by -0.8% In the third quarter (YoY) and third quarter (QoQ) contracts by -0.2% while GDP capital expenditure also dropped to -1.3%. Commodities prices continue to fall under pressure of a possible rate hike from the United States as early as December. Morning all… Wall St started firmly but finished weakly with the S&P closing down 0.32% as falling oil prices weighed heavily again. Overnight, more disappointing economic data were released from china: industrial production dipped to 5.6% from 5.7%, falling below market expectation of 5.8%. Fixed asset investment data also indicates a fall in investment from 10.3% to 10.2% but retail sales was above market expectation of 10.9% to print at 11.0%.
