Core Durable Goods Orders (MoM) (Sep) -0.2% 0.5% 0.7% Softer than expected figure from the US, resulting in dollar coming under some pressure. EURUSD jumping to 1.2733 and GBPUSD at 1.6155. Potential further upside to both pairs.

We had some US data out earlier which was US Pending Home Sales. The Figure was expected at 0.5% where as the actual figure came out at 0.3% which is clearly worse than expected and we can see the dollar depreciate.

467K 470K We just had some very important data out from the US which was New Home Sales. The figure was expected out at 470K and the actual number came out at a slightly lower 467K, poor news for the US and we can see the dollar falling across the board.
