Morning all.. Wall St closed up 0.65% which is impressive so close to the Fed meeting tonight but Asia found it tough to rally with the Nikkei closing around unchanged.. We’ve had a plethora of data this morning, the most important of which was UK price index figures. The results were mixed with half of the data points coming in worse than expected. This did little to change the bullish trend we’ve seen in sterling over the past few days as we find cable above… View Article

Morning all.. Wall St closed mix with the Dow marginally higher but the S&P down 0.11% as investors take a break in front of the FOMC meeting tomorrow. Crude oil leads the way this morning after Saudi Arabia announced it will lower output by more than previously suggested. As a result we’ve seen crude gain some 5 percent this morning, with WTI coming off the highs of $54.50 in more recent trade. Morning all.. Wall had another strong close Friday and Asia also pushed higher as oil soared on OPEC and No-OPEC nations agreeing to cut production further. Saudi minister also expressed optimism on being able to cut production more than originally anticipated. Oil up 5% this morning and oil related currencies all stronger.
