Cables next big leap on the upside?

We have seen cable come off recently and has finally come back down to a strong level of support that was previously resistance at 1.706. If it is to break a move on the downside should be present but in my opinion it will hold as it looks like a pullback on a stronger uptrend and the move was just a way of getting out of overbought conditions. Although with all the sterling and US data out today this may be broken on quick reactions to the economic data. A lot of movement today can be expected at the least.
